The Independent And National Electoral Commission Officers (INEC) and other personnel had some difficulties in crossing some areas in Edo as a result of the erosion and the bad road.

At Udaba Ekperi village (Estako Central LGA), INEC officials and about 30 police officers had to pull their shoes and trousers to cross a very large flood

“As bad as it may, they had to carry their weapons and equipment on their heads” an eyewitness said.

In Edo State, The election has progressed peacefully with the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Godwin Obaseki leading the race.
