Popular Afro-pop singer, Starboy Wizkid, as of recently opened up as to why his so much hyped mixtape/EP ‘Sounds From The Other Side’ is not an album.

Wizkid in a recent interview with Ibrahim Darden, a foreign based American radio presenter, he is popularly known as Ebro, according to the singer he said he was feeling like making a “little record” and not an album.

“It’s like a collaboration. Everyone calls it an album, but it’s like an EP.

“Because it wasn’t like… When I decided to make it like a little record, a friend of mine came into the room with a business partner of his when I was recording, heard the music and said, are you about to put this out for free? They were like hell no. He was like yo, I’m putting my money behind that.”

SFTOS was released on Friday, July 14 – Two days before his 27th birthday.
