Auburn Basketball Is Seen As A College Hoops ‘New Blood’.

The rest of the college hoops world now sees the Auburn basketball program’s end in 2021-22 as a product of karma.

Tiger fans persistently meme-blasted opponents following all 28 wins, with things reaching a fever pitch during SEC play. But, the Auburn family took the return lashes as a motivation.

Tennessee State’s social media manager wondered why there was massive engagement on Twitter in the final score of a loss to Murray State. At this point, he had to question whether things were going out of control.

Perhaps they were, maybe it was not. ‘Out of control’ looks extra when talking about college hoops fandom.

Beyond the taunt, another ‘Icarus’ like quality Auburn basketball fans showed in their excitement: the impression of a blue blood program, which was wrong.

Now look, Tiger die-hard fans said in mockery; that AU has never won an NCAA Championship in basketball, which automatically disqualified the orange and blue from having blood that’s blue too.

But the talk grew too toxic and prevalent when the words of Auburn ‘broke’ and even owned the University of North Carolina. UNC just knocked out a highly talented Duke team pursuing an 11th NCAA Championship game appearance. But, on the other hand, Auburn basketball has never made a single game.

Tiger fans had fun and will have more fun despite what anyone says on media. But the Auburn family needs to live up to their status in the college basketball world. And it’s not like blue blood.
