Ex-Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Sam Amadi, has spoken out about the video involving kids from Chrisland School.
In a Facebook post, Amadi claimed that the moral decay in society should be laid on parents and schools.
He was perplexed as to why Chrisland’s management chose Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for an excursion.
“Must school kids go to Dubai for excursions? What are they learning on excursions that they cannot learn in Kano or Port Harcourt?
“We give kids gadgets beyond their level and allow them access to all sites in the name of enlightenment because we have to show we have made it?
“Now, sadly as parents and schools we are getting what our foolishness buys for us”, the Harvard alumni added.
