The ex-wife of the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Dr. Fatima Abdullahi who hails from Doma Local Government has declared interest in the governorship race in Nassarawa State.
Fatima, a public health practitioner has promised in her manifesto that if elected she would give ultimate priority to agriculture, health, education, creating jobs, and other socio-economic challenges in the state.
“Our policy will focus on diversifying economy while boosting the agricultural capacity in the agricultural sector by adopting farm technologies such as improved seed cross breeding, insecticides and fertilizers among others, thereby achieving economic scale”.
For the ticket of the APC, she will be contesting with the present governor of the state, Abdullahi Sule.
