Kendric Davis was a preseason All-American choice. He lived up to the hype, scoring 19.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game.
He was named the AAC Player of the Year. Davis entered his name into the 2022 NBA Draft, but he entered the transfer portal. Davis has heard from dozens of major programs all across the country.
In addition, at least one school from each of the traditional Power 6 conferences has been in contact with the talented transfer.
Davis shot 37% from the 3-point range and drained 77 3-pointers. But his all-around game was excellent too. Davis shot 45% in the lane, using runners and floaters to torture drop defense.
Davis’ midrange game was a significant strength too. Davis profiles as an elite shooter and playmaker who can single-handedly carry a team. There aren’t many good players out there like Davis.
