Officials of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service forcefully shave off lady’s dyed hair in Benue State

Date:

A video circulating online shows officials of the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Services, NHFSS, forcefully shaving off a lady’s dyed hair in Benue State.

The officials whose primary responsibility is to safeguard the lives of farmers in the state following repeated attacks by bandits, reportedly stopped the lady who was on a bike and made her sit on the ground.

They then dug scissors into her hair and started shaving it off while their colleagues hailed them and praised the lady’s new look.

The video has stirred outrage on social media as netizens criticize the NHFSS officials for leaving their core responsibility to harass innocent citizens on the streets.

They also called on the governor of the state, Samuel Ortom, to take action against the officials for publicly humiliating the lady.
