Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder and lead pastor of Salvation Ministries, has spoken in on the latest Chrisland incident involving minors and how bad parenting may be to blame.
The pastor remarked in a sermon reshared by Goldmyne that no parent should buy their children a phone until they get to university.
He stated that while it may be difficult, parents must hold firm. He gave an example of how he forbade his kid from using a phone until he graduated from high school, and he still cherishes that lesson now.
When a child uses a phone, according to Pastor Ibiyeomie, it can be rather distracting because so many things pop up.
Parents could install land phones in their houses for communication, he suggested, noting that children could always use their parents’ mobile devices.
I recommend that everyone get to know their child and use the methods that work best for them, as well as pray about it.
