Real Madrid is interested in signing Kylian Mbappé on a free transfer this summer when his contract expires, but Paris Saint-German has not given up hope on retaining him.
Paris Saint-German is reportedly willing to pay Kylian Mbappé a £150millio signing-on fee if he is ready to renew a two-year contract with them.
Mbappé would be off-contract by the end of the season. He has been linked to Real Madrid, but PSG is determined to keep their prized player, and it is confirmed they have upped their singing bonus from £125million to £150million as they do not have time on their side.
PSG is willing to offer Mbappé an annual salary of £21million, over £400,000 per week. However, his employers are concerned about losing their assets ahead of the World Cup in their Capital later this year.
Mbappé has his heart set on Madrid. When asked about his future, he replied: “I haven’t made my decision. I’m considering new elements to consider.” Real Madrid has even cooled their pursuit of the sensational Haaland.
One factor that could affect where he will play next season is his parents, who act as his representatives. PSG has offered them a staggering £42million commission payment if they convince him to stay in the French capital, although they don’t impact the player’s decision.
It is pretty apparent why Real Madrid wants a player like Kylian Mbappé to join their books, a forward who has scored 160 goals in 209 appearances and 26 goals at the international level; earning 54 caps is not easy, to ignore.
Mbappé has also lifted significant trophies. He has four Ligue 1 titles, three French Cups, two French League Cups, two French Super Cups, the World Cup, and Nations League.
One cup that eludes him is the Champions League Cup. His chances of winning this cup will significantly increase if he switches to the Spanish Giants. Despite him scoring in both legs, the Spanish Giants are also responsible for PSG’s exit from the Champions League.
“I’ve not decided my future,” insisted Mbappé in February – before PSG’s European exit. ” I play for Paris Saint-Germain, one of the best clubs in the world.” He went on to say: “I give my best, and then we will see what happens next season.”
A move to Real Madrid would put Mbappé on a pedestal he so desperately needs to unveil his full potential.
