Polish publication Interia Sport claims that Barcelona and the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski have both reached a contract agreement that will be effective at the end of the summer.
Robert Lewandowski has been playing for Bayern Munich since he was welcomed in 2014 and since then went on to achieve significant trophies with the Bavarians.
But it appears that the prolific striker is ready for a new challenge as he enters the final twelve months of his contract with the German giants.
Barcelona is more than delighted to add the Legendary goalscorer to their ranks under the Club’s legend, Xavi Hernandez. The Catalans have held meetings with his agent, Pini Zahavi, which have, on different occasions, ended mutually positive.
It is claimed that talks have advanced into a potential three-year multi-million contract agreement despite the interest from other European giants such as Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and Manchester City.
Barcelona has to negotiate with Bayern Munich for a transfer fee to complete the deal, or they risk losing their prized asset for nothing come 2023.
Indeed, Lewandowski would be a massive signing for Barcelona, as the Polish striker had hardly shown any slowing down despite being 33 years of age.
