The Lagos State Police Command has responded to the purported rape video involving kids from Lagos’ Chrisland School.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer, said on Monday that inquiries into the situation had begun.
The security agency is looking to establish, according to the spokesman.
“the identities of the players in the video”.
Also to be identified are, “the incident in the video, the geographical location of the incident, the alleged threat to life against a student”.
The conditions surrounding the claimed repeated pregnancy tests performed on a student without parental approval are among the others.
The police are aware of “the cybercrime angle” and would solicit Interpol’s (International Police) assistance if necessary.
Lagos Command stated that it would collaborate with relevant ministries, departments, agencies, and non-governmental groups.
Abiodun Alabi, the Commissioner of Police, stated that necessary diligence will be followed to guarantee that there is no miscarriage of justice.
We sincerely hope that justice is done.
