The most talked-about traditional marriage in the entertainment industry at the moment has been going on with the different scenarios that happened in the wedding. This is that of kinsmen to her husband.
Rita Dominic’s much-anticipated traditional wedding finally took place last Tuesday at her country house in Aboh-Mbaise, Imo State, amid the glamour and strict security.
The bride’s kinsmen had one word for their son-in-law, Fidelis Anosike, as the ceremony was soaring and everyone was expressing their happiness for the new pair. And it was a message that will ring in the groom’s ears for the rest of his life.
Rita is your last bus stop. Don’t mess around with her, don’t use her as your punching bag. Remember that you married Ada Mbaise,” they said in the ears of Anosike.
The groom comes from the Anambra tribe of the late Senator President, Chuba Okadigbo, and his spouse, Senator Margaret Okadigbo, was present to honour and support the pair with Senator Anosike.
Even as the groom’s kinsmen made it apparent to him that the happiness of their daughter is more important to them than their friendship.
If some of the statements at the event are to be believed, they painted an image of the groom. However, as stated in the Holy Bible:“Love conquers all things and covers a multitude of sin.”
Rita has discovered true love in Anosike’s arms, and that is all that matters to them.
HRM, Eze Marcellenus J.O Naturuocha, the bride’s uncle, bestowed his royal blessings on the pair and urged the groom to be a good husband to their daughter.
Just as the groom’s friend and Chairman of Daily Times, Emeka Ihedioha, a former governor of Imo State, informed him in simple English that Rita Dominic is his last bus stop.
In his words, he said: “ Mbaise women are the best and we have the best wives across the country.
Our daughter will not disappoint you. She has chosen to marry you and she will stay in her marriage.
“Fidelis, you are going nowhere again. We have chained you today,
“I want to testify before you people that I know Fidelis’ family very well. I grew up under the wings of Dr Chuba Okadigbo and I can tell that Fidelis is running nowhere. We shall advise our daughter on how to manage her husband.”
The bride was escorted inside the arena to greet hundreds of friends and well-wishers after Ihedioha’s remarks were met with a thundering applause.
I think you will stick with the advice given to him, congratulations to them once again.
