It’s been a long day for the University of Utah men’s basketball playoff. Desert News and other outlets said that the former Duke and Utah basketball player and current BYU assistant Chris Burgess would pair Craig Smith’s staff for coaching duties.
Now, Utah has got a commitment from Wasatch Academy center Keba Keita. The 6-foot-9, 225-pound Keita, 2023 class, is rated as a four-star commit by 247 Sports composite rankings.
Keita is the third commit to Smith this offseason. On Wednesday, Guard Wilguens Exacte Jr., also part of the 2023 class, officially signed with Utah. In addition, Cincinnati guard Mike Saunders Jr. announced his transfer to Utah earlier in April.
