The impressive young filmmaker to watch out for is Adebisi Peters, who is fastly getting recognized worldwide.
Adebisi Peters noticed how regular disappointments overshadowed many people’s dreams as a young child growing up in Lagos, and he vowed to change people’s perceptions of life.
He is now a multi-talented filmmaker with a diverse variety of cinematic skills who is passionate about inspiring people via the telling of social and corporate stories.
Adebisi released “My Story,” a social documentary on mental health that tackled failure, intimidation, and despair, on his YouTube channel, The Kreativo, in 2021, following his recovery from depression. During the first season of My Story’s self-financed “Failure isn’t Final,” he interviewed Twyse Ereme, Michael Sanni (MC Lively), Kie Kie, Edem Victor, and Adebayo Ridwan (IsbaeU).
In Nigeria, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, he currently has over 2.7 million impressions and over 200,000 views, with some remarkable comments about how the video saved lives.
Adebisi won the British Council’s Climate Story Pitch “The Wrong Battle” in 2021. In 2020, at AFRIFF, Africa’s international film festival, he was one of the top five best film/DSLR workshop students.
He is the Director of Photography for the Amazon Prime Video dance documentary “For the Love of Dance.”
It’s such remarkable progress despite having setbacks ( depression), this is inspiring too. Congratulations to him for such achievements.
